She has a long list of certifications and additional training in the Klose method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Advanced Myofascial Techniques (CAMT), Gua Sha (scraping), Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Neck, Whiplash & Cervical Injury Treatment, Touch for Health Kinesiology, Pelvis, Spine, Scoliosis and Pre-Natal massage. She also performs CST (cranial sacral therapy) Hot Stone Therapy, Energy work and Aromatherapy on request.

As a child of cross-cultural ancestry Deb was raised using alternative healing methods incorporating herbs, homeopathic medicine and reflexology. These holistic healing arts have strongly influenced her daily massage practice.

Deb is a very intuitive therapist and encourages client feedback to obtain the optimum outcome of an individual’s session. Her specialties include cervical, therapeutic, lymphatic drainage, pain management and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and describes her massage style as “integrated body therapies”. Her skill level and competency far exceed her years as a professional therapist.

In October 2010, Deb joined the team at Excellence in Health Chiropractic and loves working in this professional medical environment. She is eager to learn new skills and techniques and is always willing to share what she has learned through her past experiences as a therapist in Hawaii and a South Anchorage day spa.

Since Deb’s arrival in Alaska 16 years ago, she embraces her love of the great Alaskan outdoors which is what lured her across the ocean from Hawaii. When not indoors working on patients, you’ll find her outdoors hiking, biking, fishing, playing tennis or golf and in the winter months, XC skiing, hiking or snow shoeing. She truly enjoys all the wondrous beauty and gifts Alaska has to offer. She is an avid world traveler, sports fan and loves taking long drives to discover new places. Her passions include gourmet cooking of Pacific Rim, Italian and contemporary fusion recipes. She dabbles in watercolor, pastels and sketching and enjoys dancing, singing, playing her ukulele and crafting of all kinds. One of her ultimate dreams is to be able to spend an extended period of time in Italy, France, Greece and Portugal and to cruise around the world.
